SPRING CITY, PA. – Beacon Commercial Real Estate, LLC. announced the sale of Depository Self-Storage located in Spring City, Pennsylvania. The property sold for over $5 million.

Chuck Shields, a self-storage investment specialist with Beacon Commercial Real Estate and a broker affiliate with Argus Self-Storage Sales Network, handled the listing for the Sellers, a private partnership which developed and managed the facility for over 25 years.

The Buyer, Sentinel Self-Storage, is a Wilmington, Delaware based family-owned real estate company. Sentinel Self-Storage is a 25 year old regional owner, developer and manager of 18 self-storage facilities in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Spring City is the first location in the Pennsylvania market.

Depository Self-Storage located on Mennonite Church Road and Wampler Drive in Spring City is just off Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) in East Vincent Township, Chester County Pennsylvania. Situated on 6.96 acres, the facility opened in 1987 and has developed into 19 existing buildings with five (5) approved buildings still to be constructed. There is 566 units including 134 RV parking spaces and a land area with a communication tower.
